Boing Boing is reporting that Paul Dell is being sued by Dell Inc. because of his name! Dell, Inc. wants Paul to hand over his name, I mean domain name, dellwebsistes.com. This story is similar to that of Mike Rowe back in 2004. Mike Rowe, then a 17-year-old Canadian high school student, was hounded by Microsoft lawyers because he operated a website named after himself, mikerowesoft.com. I haven’t heard much from Fiona Apple in years, I think she must have been sued by Apple, Inc. around the time Apple got into the music biz by releasing iTunes. I think Hot Jobs should sue Steve Jobs on trademark infringements.
